MPITESKY

Maurice Pitensky

After completing veterinary school Maurice completed a post graduate degree in epidemiology. Using those skills he eventually became a faculty member at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine where his research focused on poultry health and food safety epidemiology. Maurice is keen to explore the predictive ability of various machine learning approaches for both food safety and production efficiency in multiple agricultural fields.

Matt Hardy

Matt has a degree in wildlife ecology with extensive research and field experience, including GPS tracking, wildlife disease surveillance, and ecological modeling. His work integrates advanced technologies with ecological insights to support wildlife conservation, biosecurity, and anthropogenic impacts on wildlife.

Joseph Gendreau

Joseph is a graduate from UC Davis in Electrical Engineering. He spent time developing power and low voltage systems in the AEC industry before returning to UC Davis to work in technology applications for epidemiological research and extension for poultry at the School of Veterinary Medicine. With his experience in software development and device interfacing Joseph leads our efforts IT efforts with respect to server and database management and connectivity. Joseph is bilingual (English and French).

Tristan Bond

Tristan is a graduate from UC Davis in Mechanical Engineering. Tristan has experience in programming and is working with our data analysis team on studying and implementing various machine learning techniques. Tristan is also bilingual (English and Japanese).
